Alaska Whale Watching Tours

Whale Watching - Southeast Alaska

There are many resident whales, Orca, Humpback and Beluga, all up and down the inside passage from the San Juan Islands of Washington State to the turbid waters of Cook Inlet in Alaska. In the spring, the massive Gray Whale migration passes through these waters on their way north to their summer feeding grounds in the Bering and Chukchi Seas. The Gray whale migration peaks in early spring but stragglers can be spotted up through early June.

Visit between June-early September for Humpback, Minke Whales and Orcas. June through September can bring cool to cold temperatures on the water and subject to extreme changes, you may encounter fog or rain during your trip. Plan ahead and bring the proper gear.
